In honour of Cycle to Work Day there will a bike related event at Katie’s statue in the Town Centre from 11am-5pm. Cycle to Work Day is a nationwide celebration of commuting by bicycle — promoting health, sustainability, and eco-conscious travel.
Need a bike check-up?
We will have a Dr Bike on hand to carry out safety checks, ensure your bike is roadworthy, fix minor issues and advise on any major repairs.
Bike Market
There will be a second-hand bike market provided by Peddle My Wheels where you can buy affordable pre-owned bikes that have been serviced and are ready to ride. You can also donate unwanted bikes which are refurbished and sold on, with proceeds going to charity.
Bike Marking
Met Police officers will be available to help you mark your bike to deter theft.
