Harrow Business Against Crime wins accreditation

In November 2025 we were awarded accreditation for outstanding work with our HBAC business crime reduction partnership. The National Association of Business Crime Partnerships is the assessing organisation for the National Standards Accreditation, and Police Crime Prevention Initiatives. As the Accrediting Body they have awarded Harrow BID this prestigious accreditation, which demonstrates professionalism, integrity, and effectiveness, giving businesses, police, and local authorities confidence that your partnership operates to the highest national standards. It recognises partnerships that operate lawfully, share information responsibly, and deliver meaningful impact in reducing business crime and anti-social behaviour. Accredited BCRPs play a vital role in tackling both local and national safety priorities.

Sophie Jordan, CEO at the NABCP, said “We are delighted that Harrow BID has become the second BID in London to achieve BCRP National Standards Accreditation under the newly revised standard. The team has demonstrated real excellence in delivering an effective, high‑quality BCRP with clear ambitions to expand, offering more businesses the chance to benefit from collective protection and stronger offender management. The partnership’s strong relationship with local police and its robust policies provide a solid foundation for a well‑run scheme”.
