The Worshipful The Mayor of the London Borough of Harrow
The Mayor of Harrow would like to invite all Community Organisations and Charities operating in the London Borough of Harrow to join with him at the Harrow Recreation Ground on Saturday 28th August to raise awareness of their organisation, to garner support from the people that attend the event and to fundraise.
This “Fun Day” will take place around the area near the Park’s Cafe. It will start at 12:30 and finish at 17:30. We plan to have food for purchase, traditional games, music, and entertainment. The day is being organised by the Mayor of Harrow’s Special Appeal Charity with support from Harrow Mencap, Harrow Association of Disabled People and
Harrow Recreation Ground Users Association.
Funds donated to The Mayor’s Special Appeal will be distributed to the Mayor’s sponsored charities who this year are Harrow Mencap and Harrow Association of Disabled People. Organisations can apply for pitches by filling in the form by clicking on the link below or by sending their request to mayor@harrow.gov.uk.
The cost of each pitch will be a minimum of £5.00 donation to the Mayor’s Special Appeal. To be paid on the day. The format will be informal, it is an open public park. Click here to apply
